Yoloxochitlan Mexico

The San Mateo Yoloxochitlán working group in Oaxaca’s La Cañada region unites committed coffee growers through a partnership with Terra Coffea Mexico (TCM) established in 2022. This collaboration provides support for post-harvest processing, direct market access, and reinvestment of premiums to enhance member autonomy. Known for its unique Mazatec culture, La Cañada preserves ancient traditions and remains a symbol of resilience. Led by Frida Mendoza, TCM combines 80 years of expertise with modern techniques to promote quality, sustainability, and local economic growth through agroecological practices.
